南管音樂家

張再興(1925-2010),知名南管藝師。出生於中國福建省泉州,18歲時拜師林碰鼠、朱仁乳二位先生學習南管,1946年起移居臺灣,在臺擔任公職二十餘年期間,先後向沈夢熊、吳彥點、廖坤明等先生學習南管。工作之餘,熱衷參與館閣活動,曾先後加入新竹玉隆堂、嘉義鳳聲閣、臺北南聲國樂社、閩南樂府、基隆泉郡團、臺南同聲社、武廟振聲社、臺北南樂基金會、和鳴南樂社、廈門同鄉會等社團,並曾擔任海內外多個南管社團顧問。張氏生前熱心推動南管事務並積極參與國際與兩岸南管絃友交流,曾從事南管音樂的推廣與曲譜整理,1962年編有《南管名曲選集》,並多次再版,為南管音樂學習者的重要曲譜之一。除此之外,多次帶領臺灣南管絃友赴福建泉州、菲律賓、馬來西亞、新加坡、韓國等地出國交流,在臺灣南管樂界舉足輕重。

Master ZHANG Zai-Xing (1925-2010), a well-known Nan-Guan (southern style orchestration) musician, was born in Quan-Zhou, Fu-Jian province, China. At the age of 18, he learned Nan-Guan from Master LIN Pong-Shu and ZHU Ren-Ru. Then, he moved to Taiwan in 1946. As a government servant for more than 30 years, he successively learned Nan-Guan from Master SHEN Meng-Xiong, Master WU Yan-Dian, and Master LIAO Kun-Ming. In his spare time, he was keen to participate in Nan-Guan music activities. He ever participated in Yu-Long Hall in Hsinchu, Feng-Sheng Club in Chiayi, Nan-Sheng Chinese Music Club and Min-Nan Music Club in Taipei, Quan-Jun Troupe in Keelung, Tong-Sheng Club and Wu-Miao Zhen-Sheng Club in Tainan, Nan-Yue Foundation, He-Ming South Music Club, and Association of Xia-Men Fellow Provincials in Taipei, and served as a consultant for many Nan-Guan music groups in Taiwan and in foreign countries. During his lifetime, ZHANG was enthusiastic about promoting Nan-Guan music events and actively participating in international and cross-strait exchanges of Nan-Guan music. Besides promoting Nan-Guan music, he also strived to amend scores of Nan-Guan music. In 1962, he compiled the "Selected Collection of Famous Nan-Guan Songs," which was republished many times and was taken as one of the most important scores for Nan-Guan music learners. In addition, he also led Nan-Guan music performers in Taiwan to Quan-Zhou, Fujian, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, and many other countries for exchange affairs, playing a pivotal role in Nan-Guan music world.
