北管音樂家

詹文贊(1948-),出生於新北市汐止,人稱「阿狗仔」,為樂英社第二代弟子。1962年,拜樂英社子弟「煌先」(鄭炳煌)為師,學習後場音樂,也曾透過自基隆聚樂社前來教館的劉永連「牽曲」,以及在基隆聚樂社與靈安社教館的「黑肉先」(郭成)學習「踏腳步」(身段)。十八歲學習前場,曾「上棚」演出大花、公末、旦等行當。十九歲開始在汐止烘內新樂社教北管,二十一歲入伍時被編入小型康樂隊,二十二歲退伍後投入北管教學的行列。1970年開始參與那卡西的演出長達二十八年,堪稱汐止火車站「味珍香」酒家(黑肉樓)的紅牌樂師,除此之外,也擅長道教祭典的後場。1982年,成立「灘音國樂社」,2021年被登錄為新北市無形文化資產北管音樂保存者。

Master ZHAN Wen-Zan (1948-), born in Xi-Zhi, New Taipei City, nicknamed as "Agao-Ah," was the second generation disciple of Le-Ying Club. In 1962, he followed "Master Huang" (Master ZHENG Bing-Huang), a member of the Le-Ying Club, to study backstage music and learn how to sing and pace footsteps (body gestures) with Master LIU Yong-Lian of Ju-Le Club in Keelung and Master GUO Cheng, nicknamed as "Master Dark Skin," of Ju-Le Club and Ling-An Club, respectively. At the age of 18, he studied how to play in frontstage and ever performed a number of features, e.g. Da-Hua (clown features), Gong-Mo (male elder features), Dan (female features), etc. At the age of 19, he began to teach Bei-Guan (northern style orchestration) in the Xin-Le Club located in Hong-Ne, Xi-Zhi. When he served at the army at age of 21, he was enrolled as a member of entertainment team. After he was discharged from the army at the age of 22, he dedicated himself to Bei-Guan teaching. Since 1970, he played Nagashi (minstrel performer) for 28 years and was regarded as a red-label musician at the "Wei-Zhen-Xiang" Restaurant (Dark Skin Hall) at Xi-Zhi Railway Station. In addition, he is also good at performing at backstage of Taoist ceremonies. In 1982, he formed "Tan-Yin Chinese Music Club." Master ZHAN Wen-Zan was registered as a preserver of Bei-Guan music, an intangible cultural asset, by New Taipei City government in 2021.
