陳裕剛(1945-2014),國樂作曲家、指揮家與教育家。出生於越南西貢的提岸(今胡志明市),1962年赴臺定居。中學開始學習中國竹笛,琵琶演奏師承林沛宇先生。曾任中華民國國樂學會理事長、中華民國樂器學會理事長,及臺北市國樂作曲學會常務理事。重要作品有:國樂合奏曲《鬧年鑼鼓賀新春》、《春暖大地》與琵琶協奏曲《將進酒》等。樂團方面他曾任:國立臺灣藝術教育館中華國樂團副團長兼指揮、國立實驗國樂團(今臺灣國樂團)副團長兼駐團指揮、省立臺中圖書館中興國樂團指揮、中華電信國樂團指揮。學校方面他曾在:國立臺灣藝術大學中國音樂學系任教,並擔任系主任、表演藝術研究所所長,以及表演藝術學院院長之職務,栽培出許多優秀的國樂人才,對於臺灣國樂之發展,功不可沒。

CHEN Yu-Kang (1945-2014), Chinese music composer, conductor and educator. Born in Vietnam. In 1962, he settled in Taiwan. In middle school, he started to learn Chinese dizi (bamboo flute) and pipa from LIN Pei-Yu. Former Chairman of the Chinese Music Association, Taiwan, R.O.C., Chairman of the Chinese Musical Instrument Association, and Executive Director of Taipei City Chinese Music Composition Association.Important works include: Playing Gongs and Drums to Celebrate Chinese New Year for Chinese orchestra, Spring Warms the Earth for Chinese orchestra and Jiang Jin Jiu pipa concerto and others. He has served as an orchestra Deputy Director and Conductor of the of the Chunghua Chinese Orchestra in the National Taiwan Arts Education Center, Deputy Director and Resident Conductor of the National Taiwan Academy of Arts Experimental Chinese Orchestra, Conductor of Taiwan Province Taichung Public Library Chung Hsing Chinese Orchestra, and Conductor of the Chunghwa Telecom Chinese Orchestra. He taught in the Department of Chinese Music at the National Taiwan University of Arts and served as Department Chair, Chair of the Graduate School of Performing Arts, and the Dean of the College of Performing Arts. He has cultivated many outstanding performers, composers and researchers of Chinese music. He has made great contributions to Taiwan’s Chinese music development.
