温隆信（1944生），作曲家、畫家。出生於臺北市。7歲隨父親習小提琴，13歲創作第一首樂曲。1964年入國立臺灣藝術專科學校（今國立臺灣藝術大學），雙主修小提琴與作曲，受教於陳懋良與許常惠。1968年加入向日葵樂會，1971年獲第一屆中國現代音樂作曲比賽首獎，開始受到注目。1975年獲荷蘭高地慕司國際現代音樂作曲比賽第二獎，為第一位獲此殊榮的亞洲作曲家。近半世紀的創作，數量繁多且精緻，西洋樂器、傳統絲竹樂與電子音樂兼具，以室內樂為主，《現象系列》、《Digital 的世界》、《布袋戲的幻想A,B》為代表。曾獲第三屆吳三連文藝作曲獎章、第二十一屆全國文藝獎章等榮譽。對於致力培育年輕學子亦不遺於力，1997年於美國洛杉磯組室內管弦樂團「柝之響」。近年來，亦以畫家身分與音樂創作互為輝映。

WEN Loong-Hsing (a. k. a. David L. WEN) is an active composer in Taiwan and abroad, formed music organizations and is a painter. He was born in Taipei on March 7, 1944. His representative pieces include "Phenomena Series", "Digital World", and "Budaixi Fantasy A, B". Wen won second prize in the Gaudeamus International Composers Award, making him the first Taiwanese composer to win an international award after WWII. Wen also won gold medal in the Top 10 Outstanding Young Composers Awards, the Wu Sanlian Culture and Arts Awards for composition, and the National Culture and Arts Medal. Wen formed the Fuyin Orchestra, Jing Records and Clap and Tap Chamber Orchestra in Los Angeles, California.
