戴金泉,臺灣著名合唱指揮家;1938 年 3 月 6 日出生於板橋。畢業於國立臺灣藝術專科學校(今國立臺灣藝術大學)音樂科。多年任教於國立臺灣藝術大學音樂系,其以合唱指揮為一生職志,近五十年間,累計達數百場的音樂會演出,足跡遍佈世界各國;演出曲目廣泛,涵蓋宗教歌曲、藝術歌曲、清唱劇及歌劇與臺灣及各地民謠等,為臺灣合唱音樂發展之重要影響與貢獻者。
DAI Ching-Chuan (DAI Jin-Quan) was born in New Taipei City’s Banqiao District on Jan. 26, 1938. Dai’s ancestors came from Zhangzhou in Fujian Province. He graduated from the National College of Arts’ music department, and for many years has taught in the music department at the university. He was a dedicated choral conductor, and over the course of nearly five decades he performed in hundreds of concerts and toured the world. His performance repertoire was vast, covering religious songs, art songs, cantatas and operas, as well as various Taiwanese folk music genres. Dai made an important contribution and was a highly influential figure in the development of choral music in Taiwan.
