李富美（1932-2017），鋼琴教育家。出生於臺北大稻埕。自小學開始習琴，師事張彩湘，在他的力薦下，1953年李富美赴日本武藏野音樂大學攻讀鋼琴，師事島村千枝子、柯罕斯基等。1956年畢業時，更獲得參加山葉音樂廳畢業音樂會演出的榮譽。1958年返國，進入省立臺灣師範學院（今國立臺灣師範大學）任教，至1997年專任退休。李富美為許常惠多首作品首演者，例如《歌曲四首》、《等待》之鋼琴部分，並於1962年與臺灣省教育廳交響樂團（今國立臺灣交響樂團）合作，擔任貝多芬第五號鋼琴協奏曲《皇帝》之獨奏，為當時難得與樂團演出此曲之紀錄。1965年選擇結束演奏、專心於教學，其日式教學風格嚴謹，強調紮實的基礎訓練，培育出許多優秀音樂家，例如蕭泰然、張炫文、彭聖錦等，對臺灣鋼琴界有深遠的影響。

LI Fu-Mei is a renowned pianist who has taught many pupils who eventually became famous pianists in their own right. Li was born in Taipei's Dadaocheng area on June 7, 1932. Li studied piano with Chang Tsai-Hsiang and at Musashino Academia Musicae in Japan, where she studied with renowned Japanese pianists such as Motonari Iguchi. Li premiered many of composer Hsu Tsang-Houei's pieces, and was featured in numerous concerts as a pianist from 1959 to 1964. While working as a teacher, she taught many talented musicians, including renowned composers Tyzen Hsiao, Chang Hsuan-Wen and Chou Shin-Chuan.
