杜黑（1944生），合唱指揮家，音樂教育家。出生於四川成都。1954年隨父母來臺，1959年入省立臺北師範學校音樂科就讀，後從中國文化學院（今中國文化大學）音樂學系畢，1980年獲得美國伊利諾大學合唱指揮碩士，並進入博士班就讀。1981年返國，1983年接任台北愛樂合唱團指揮，1988年創立財團法人台北愛樂文教基金會。1990年起主辦台北愛樂國際合唱音樂營、台北愛樂國際合唱音樂節及樂壇新秀等活動，引進當代合唱音樂潮流，對臺灣合唱推廣、國際交流、培養優秀人才不遺餘力。1997年獲第一屆國家文藝獎音樂類得主，2002年製作《佛教涅槃曲－佛說阿彌陀經》專輯，獲金曲獎最佳宗教音樂專輯獎。2011年，台北愛樂擴大為台北愛樂合唱團、室內合唱團、青年管弦樂團、愛樂劇工廠與歌劇坊，均由杜黑擔任藝術總監。

DU Hei (b.1944) was born in Chengdu, Sichuan, moved to Taiwan with his parents in 1954. He entered the Music Department of the Provincial Taipei Normal School in 1959 and later graduated from the Department of Music at the Chinese Culture College (now Chinese Culture University). In 1980, he earned a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Illinois and subsequently enrolled in its doctoral program. After returning to Taiwan in 1981, he took over as the conductor of the Taipei Philharmonic Chorus in 1983 and founded the Taipei Philharmonic Foundation for Culture and Education in 1988. Starting from 1990, he organized prestigious events such as the Taipei Philharmonic International Choral Workshop, the Taipei International Choral Festival (TICF), and the "Rising Stars" series. By introducing contemporary choral trends, he has been tireless in promoting choral music in Taiwan, fostering international exchange, and nurturing exceptional talent. In 1997, he was honored with the 1st National Award for Arts in the music category. In 2002, his production of the album Buddhist Nirvana: Amitabha Sutra won the Golden Melody Award for Best Religious Music Album. By 2011, the Taipei Philharmonic had expanded to include the Taipei Philharmonic Chorus, Chamber Choir, Youth Orchestra, Philharmonic Theater, and Opera Studio, all with DU Hei serving as the Artistic Director.
