范姜新熹(1934-2015),客家八音藝師。出生於桃園新屋。為戰後北臺灣重要客家八音樂師、教師,2010年被桃園市登錄為「客家八音----范姜文賢系統」之保存者。其為桃園客家八音重要前輩藝師范姜文賢長子,盡得乃父技藝真傳並授徒眾多,成為桃園地區重要的客家八音傳習教師。年輕時曾遊走金興社、三義園、小榮鳳、勝美等客家戲班擔任後場樂師,後並組有客家戲班新拱樂於宜蘭、桃園演出十年。除擅長客家八音、北管、戲曲後場之外,范姜新熹亦熟稔科儀法事,具有道士身分,家中設有瑞德壇。1990年代初發起成立臺灣北區客家八音聯誼會,積極傳授客家八音藝術,團結客家八音從業者感情。有《范姜新熹的遊藝回顧》一書,以及客家八音吹場、絃索、扮仙、臺灣串等CD傳世。
FAN JIANG Xin-Xi was born in Taoyuan in 1934. He is the eldest son of Fan Jiang Wen-Xian, a renowned Hakka bayin singer and puppet theater performer during the Japanese colonial era and post-WWII. Inheriting the authentic artistry of his father, Fan Jiang established Xin Gong Yue, an indoor traditional Hakka opera troupe that since the 1980s has been very important in passing on the traditions of the Hakka bayin singing in the Taoyuan and Hsinchu areas. Fan Jiang is an important bayin educator and also a Taoist priest with an altar at home.
