陳冠華（1912-2002），歌仔戲後場、民間器樂演奏家。出生於臺北北投。本名陳水柳，童年綽號泥鰍仙，1926年入北投北管子弟戲班清樂社學藝，後與張圭習嗩吶、呂阿富習道士音樂，亦接觸歌仔戲，成為後場主奏。北管戲班奠定他在樂器與戲曲聲腔上深厚的基礎，具有自拉自唱的能力；師承杜蚶，更進一步具吹拉彈樂器之演奏能力。1933年進入美樂唱片，1936年與陳秋霖、蘇桐、陳君玉等組成了臺灣新東洋樂研究會，與蘇桐共同創制了新型樂器「鼓吹弦」；1937年，第一首創作曲〈望鄉調〉，在日東唱片發表，並廣於歌仔戲班中被運用；1967年改名陳冠華，自組陳冠華民俗樂團常受邀演出。1973年，任教於國立臺灣藝術專科學校（今國立臺灣藝術大學）國樂科，專教嗩吶長達8年，1985年，榮獲教育部第一屆民族藝術薪傳獎。

CHEN Guan-Hua was born in Beitou in 1912. Originally named Chen Shui-Liu, his childhood nickname was “soiled god.” He studied suona with Zhang Gui and studied Taoist music with Lü A-Fu and came into contact with gezaixi (Taiwanese opera), eventually becoming one of the main musicians playing in a gezaixi ensemble. He was well versed in various traditional opera styles and was also a solo performer who was able to play instruments and sing. Chen formed the Chen Guan-Hua Folk Music Ensemble, which was invited to perform in different places. In 1985, he was awarded the Ministry of Education’s National Art Education Award. He died at National Taiwan University Hospital in 2002.
