孫毓芹（1915-1990），古琴家。出生於河北。少年時即喜好文藝及武術，約15歲開始學習笛、簫、二胡、月琴等。1939年，向田疇學琴，獨鍾於琴。1948年，隨部隊赴臺。因古琴難尋，孫毓芹開研究製琴、鑽研古籍，經過試驗和改進，成為能彈又能製琴的全能琴家，其斲琴技術有四位弟子繼承。1959年，認識禪宗大師南懷瑾，後在其引薦下，拜古琴大師章志蓀為師，後繼承衣缽，繼續傳承琴和琴譜。1972年，在梅庵琴派吳宗漢薦舉之下，孫毓芹接替他在國立臺灣藝術專科學校（今國立臺灣藝術大學）的古琴教學，弟子無數，對臺灣古琴藝術影響深遠，臺藝大國樂學系更為其留有「民族藝師孫毓芹先生古琴紀念室」。曾獲第一屆中國民族藝術薪傳獎和中華民國第一屆民族藝師，對古琴音樂藝術發展的影響深遠。

SUN Yu-Qin was born in Hebei in 1915. He was interested in literature, music, painting and martial arts as a child, and it was not until the age of 15 that Sun actually started learning music, learning how to play the dizi, xiao, erhu, and yueqin. He started studying how to play various instruments with Tian, Chou in 1939. After coming to Taiwan in 1948, he started making guqin, and was able to both make instruments and play them. He was awarded the Chinese Arts Award and the Chinese Artist Award. Sun was very influential in guqin music. He died in Taipei in 1990.
