姜雲玉（1956）為臺灣重要客家歌謠演唱家、教育者與策劃製作人。出生於新竹縣北埔鄉，自幼浸潤於客家語言與民間音樂文化。畢業於國立臺灣藝術專科學校國樂科（聲樂組）、國立臺灣藝術學院音樂舞蹈學系，並取得國立臺灣藝術大學表演藝術研究所碩士學位，長期投入民間歌謠理論、聲腔詮釋與表演藝術研究。1991年與呂錦明共同創辦「台灣客家山歌團」，持續至今逾三十五年，致力於客家山歌的演唱、教學與舞臺化發展。1997年於國家演奏廳舉辦「姜雲玉──客家歌謠獨唱會」，為臺灣首度以客家歌謠為主題之個人獨唱會，具里程碑意義。其演唱與策劃足跡遍及亞洲、美洲與歐洲，累積演出數百場。曾任國中音樂教師二十五年，並受聘任教於國立臺灣藝術大學、國立臺灣師範大學等校。近年積極策劃客家歌舞劇與大型主題製作，為當代客家表演藝術的重要推手之一。

JIANG Yun-Yu (b. 1956) is a prominent Taiwanese Hakka folk song singer, educator, and producer. Born in Beipu Township, Hsinchu County, she was immersed from an early age in Hakka language and folk music culture. She graduated from the National Taiwan Academy of Arts (Department of Chinese Music, Vocal Division), the National Taiwan College of Arts (Department of Music and Dance), and later obtained a master’s degree from the Graduate Institute of Performing Arts at National Taiwan University of Arts. She has long been engaged in the study of folk song theory, vocal interpretation, and performing arts. In 1991, she co-founded the Taiwan Hakka Folk Song Ensemble with Lü Chin-Ming, and for more than 35 years has been dedicated to the performance, teaching, and stage development of Hakka mountain songs. In 1997, she held the “Jiang Yun-Yu: Hakka Folk Song Recital” at the National Recital Hall, marking the first solo concert in Taiwan centered on Hakka folk songs—a milestone achievement. Her performances and productions have taken her across Asia, the Americas, and Europe, with hundreds of performances to her credit. She served as a junior high school music teacher for 25 years and has been appointed as a lecturer at institutions including National Taiwan University of Arts and National Taiwan Normal University. In recent years, she has actively engaged in producing Hakka musical theatre and large-scale themed productions, becoming an important driving force in contemporary Hakka performing arts.
