林氏好(1907-1991 ),女高音、教師、社會運動者。古倫美亞唱片、泰平唱片歌手,日本知名聲樂家關屋敏子的入室弟子。1934年開始以美聲唱法與鄭有忠管絃樂團共同舉辦多場音樂會。她是一位以歌聲向命運抗衡的傳奇女子,受到丈夫盧丙丁從事社會運動的波及,被迫辭去教職之後,1932年成為古倫美亞唱片公司旗下歌手,唱紅許多歌曲,是臺語流行歌壇初萌年代重要的歌手。在歌唱的顛峰時期,也經常到各地巡迴表演,除了流行歌曲之外,也唱世界民謠、古典名曲、歌劇選曲、日本作曲家的藝術歌曲等。在西式新音樂對於臺灣民眾而言尚陌生的當時,充分展現她於古典音樂方面的藝術修養。她同時也是社會運動者,在進入歌壇之前即投入婦女運動,是1930年代頗有成就的新時代女性。
Master LIN Shi-Hau (1907-1991), soprano, teacher, and social activist. Singer of Columbia Records and Tai-Ping Records, and a disciple of Master Sekiya Toshiko, a well-known Japanese vocalist. Since 1934, she worked with ZHENG You-Zhong Orchestra and performed in several concerts in Bel Canto. She was a legendary woman who fought against fate with her singing. She was forced to resign from her teaching job after being affected by her husband LU Bing-Ding's social movement. In 1932, she became an exclusive singer under the Columbia Records Company, singing many popular songs, which was popular at that time, acting as an important singer in the infancy of music scene in Taiwan. In the peak period of singing, she often traveled to various places to perform. In addition to popular songs, she also sang world folk songs, famous classical songs, opera selections, and art songs of Japanese composers. At a time when western-style new music was still unfamiliar to Taiwanese, she fully demonstrated her artistic accomplishment in classical music. Master LIN Shi-Hau was also a social activist, she joined diversified women's movements before entering the music scene, featuring a remarkable new-age woman in the 1930s.
