宋威德（1965－），傑出單簧管演奏家，曾任「臺北市立交響樂團」演奏團員及研究推廣組主任、臺灣師範大學音樂系專任教授，現任臺北市立交響樂團團長。1990-1994年就讀法國國立FRESNES音樂院，曾獲該校室內樂金牌獎及單簧管金牌獎、法國LEOPOLD-BELLAN藝術比賽單簧管組第一獎。學成歸國後，積極投入單簧管教育及古典音樂的推廣，1994-2006年與同好組成「魔笛單簧管四重奏」，2004-2006擔任「天使之翼交響管樂團」團長，2007年成立「黑種籽單簧管合奏團」，積極策劃、爭取各種形式的音樂會展演，展現精力旺盛的活動力與藝術熱誠。宋威德對於國人作品的的推介與保存也不遺餘力，許多作曲家的單簧管作品都由他首演，他也是國內少數可以吹奏巴賽管的演奏家。

SONG Wei-De (1965-), an outstanding clarinetist, was a member of the "Taipei Symphony Orchestra," Director of Research and Promotion Division of the Orchestra, full-time professor in the Department of Music of National Taiwan Normal University, and is currently the head of the Taipei Symphony Orchestra. He studied at French National FRESNES Conservatory of Music from 1990 to 1994, and won a gold medal in chamber music and clarinet of the school and the first prize in the clarinet group of the French LEOPOLD-BELLAN Art Competition. After returning from his studies, he actively devoted himself to clarinet education and promotion of classical music. He organized the "Magic Clarinet Quartet" with his friends from 1994 to 2006 and acted as the head of the "Wings of the Angel Symphonic Band” from 2004 to 2006. He also formed the “Seed Clarinet Ensemble," in 2007, actively planning and striving for various forms of concert performances, showing vigorous vitality and artistic enthusiasm. He also spared no effort in promoting and preserving domestic works. Many composers' clarinet works have been premiered by him, and he is also one of the few performers in Taiwan who can play the basset horn.
