葉垂青（1952－），臺北工專畢業，是資深錄音師及白金錄音室創辦人，第卅屆傳藝金曲獎特別獎得主。社團法人AES聲音工程協會臺灣分會理事長，福爾摩沙室內樂音樂節負責人，曾任許常惠文化教育基金會董事。他在1970年代即採用最先進設備並大幅提升黑膠唱片刻版技術水準，臺灣許多黑膠專輯都經過他細緻的母帶處理及刻版。民族音樂學者許常惠教授多年的鄉野採集音樂，也是經由他剪輯、錄音、混音，並出版「中國民俗音樂專輯」21集，於保存鄉土音樂及學術研究甚具價值，並三度獲得金鼎獎肯定。他曾與多位臺灣作曲家、音樂家、編曲家如温隆信、樊曼儂、李泰祥、陳揚、陳志遠等合作，完成許多重要作品的錄製。1978年興起的校園民歌及「金韻獎」唱片專輯，以及許許多多膾炙人口的流行歌曲也都由他錄製完成。1980年迄今共建造13間白金錄音室，率先建置完整多軌同步錄音系統，改變臺灣流行樂錄音模式，塑造優質製作環境，培養上百位錄音師，繼續在華人音樂界發光發熱；對臺灣唱片產業發展貢獻卓著。

YE Chui-Qing, graduated from Taipei Technical College, was a senior recording engineer, founder of Platinum Recording Studio, chairman of AES (Sound Engineering Association) Taiwan Branch, director of Formosa Chamber Music Festival, and former director of XU Chang-Hui Cultural Education Foundation. In the 1970s, he adopted the most advanced equipment to improve level of vinyl record engraving technologies. Many vinyl albums in Taiwan were undergone his meticulous hands of mastering and engraving. He helped edit, record and mix the music works collected by Ethnomusicologist Professor XU Chang-Hui for years in the countryside and published 21 episodes of "Chinese Folk Music Album," which was very valuable in preserving local music and academic researches. The Album allowed him to win the Golden Tripod Award three times. He also collaborated with many Taiwanese composers, musicians, and arrangers, e.g. WEN Long-Xin, FAN Man-Nong, LI Tai-Xiang, CHEN Yang, CHEN Zhi-Yuan, etc., and completed recordings of many important works. Campus folk songs and "Golden Rhyme Award" albums that emerged in 1978, as well as many popular songs, were also recorded by him. Since 1980, he ever established a total of 13 platinum recording studios and the first complete multi-track synchronous recording system in Taiwan, which transformed the recording model of Taiwan’s pop music works, creating a high-quality production environment and training hundreds of recording engineers. He contributed a great deal to Taiwan’s recording industry and shined with glory in global Chinese music world.
