邵義強（1934-2017），音樂作家。出生於臺南。1952年臺灣省立臺南師範學校（今國立臺南大學）普通科畢業，歷任小學、國中、高中音樂美術教師，1977年起兼任於台南神學院音樂系，1980年任職於臺灣省音樂教育人員研習會（由原省交響樂團承辦）講師兼輔導組長，1987年自此單位退休。1998年受聘為母校與國立成功大學通識兼任講師。邵義強從1950年代開始，以不斷精進的日文能力，翻譯約百本音樂著作，例如《名曲欣賞指引》、《交響曲淺釋》、《管絃樂淺釋》等，由天同、大陸書店等出版，又為翻版古典音樂的臺南亞洲唱片、高雄松竹唱片名曲唱片封套撰寫中文樂曲解說，在英文資訊不足的年代，嘉惠古典音樂愛好者，為1980年代前古典音樂的重要推手。1988年和1989年獲臺南藝術獎和母校第二屆傑出校友獎。

SHAO Yi-Chiang, born in Tainan in 1934, was a music writer. He took music promotion as his life career and was a leading figure to publicize classical music in early Taiwan. In his life, he had edited more than 100 publications, published about 150 articles, and wrote a great number of program notes for record albums. He also served as a music teacher, teaching at middle schools in Chiayi, Tainan, and Taichung, and as the lecturer and the head consultant of the “music staff study group” in Taiwan Provincial Symphony Orchestra (now known as National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra). During his retirement, he continued to lecture in music appreciation and to promote classical music in many institutions, such as National Cheng Kung University, National University of Tainan, and Leader University. He died in Tainan in 2017.
