任蓉（1940生），聲樂家。出生於河南省鄧縣。自幼即展現過人的歌唱才華，1954年進入臺灣省立臺中女子中學就讀，受到音樂老師宋世謙的指導與支持，後入臺灣省立師範大學音樂學系（今國立臺灣師範大學）就讀，自此開啟歌唱的旅程。1965年赴義大利深造，1968年畢業於羅馬聖濟琪莉亞音樂學院，並展開二十餘年的歌劇舞臺演唱生涯。1993年返臺後，積極推展國際歌唱交流活動、創辦「世華聲樂大賽」、「任蓉表演藝術學坊」，擔任會長，負責主辦、籌畫音樂會，提供專業演出機會，為提攜後輩不遺餘力。藉由大師班、講座、執筆論述等方式，傳揚美妙的演唱世界。2008年，獲得義大利奧托納市獲耶路撒冷聖約翰聖殿騎士團頒贈「女騎士」勳章，以表彰其專業及音樂藝術上的傑出成就及傳揚崇高的文化價值。

REN Rong(Jenny Ren), born in 1940, showed her singing talent when she was little. She studied in the music department of Taiwan Provincial Teachers’ College (the predecessor of National Taiwan Normal University). She went to Italy for further study in 1965 and graduated from the Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome, majoring in music. After that she began her career as an operatic performer. She returned to Taiwan in 1993 and dedicated herself to international singing exchanges. She also founded Mondial Chinese Vocalist Concours and Ren Rong Performing Arts Studio, intending to promote the beauty of singing through masterclasses, forums, and publications.
