林敏三（1932-2018），唱片出版者。畢業於日治時期的臺北工業學校建築科。與其妻張碧於1967年創立上揚有限公司（上揚唱片），是臺灣重要的本土唱片公司之一。早期以代理國外音響起家，之後逐漸轉型為唱片代理商，曾經擁有超過20家世界頂尖的獨立廠牌代理權，像是BMG、DG、Polygram、Philipe等，是臺灣主要的古典音樂唱片代理商。1985年上揚唱片發行第一張自製專輯《西風的話》，之後陸續發行馬水龍、江文也等當代作曲家的作品，也跨足流行音樂為歌手發行專輯，藉由國際化的唱片行銷方式，將臺灣的聲音帶向全世界。上揚唱片與臺灣音樂家合作出版之音樂專輯，多次入圍與獲得金曲獎傳統暨藝術音樂作品類各大獎項，2015年林敏三與張碧夫妻共獲頒第二十六屆傳藝金曲獎出版類特別獎，對於音樂紀錄的保存貢獻備受肯定。

Sunrise Records, founded by LIN Min-San and ZHANG Bi, is one of Taiwan’s key local record companies. It won the Special Award for Publication in 2015 at the 26th Anniversary of the Golden Melody Awards for Traditional Arts and Music. Founded in 1967, Sunrise Records originally acted as an agent for imported audio equipment. Later it became an agent and distributor for imported records from such major international record companies as RCA, DGG, and Philips. Sunrise was the main record agent at that time in Taiwan. In 1985 it issued its first local album The Whisper of the Wind. Since then Sunrise has issued the music of many Taiwanese and Chinese contemporary composers, including MA Shui-Long, WUT Man-Chung, JIANG Wen-Ye, SHUI Man-Pan, and WONG Fu-Tong. It was also the very first record company to orchestrate Taiwanese folk music, endowing Taiwanese music with new vitality. Sunrise Records has been the main partner record company for Taiwanese musicians. Through its international distribution, Sunrise Records endeavors to bring the sounds of Taiwan to all corners of the world.
