樊曼儂(1946)為長笛演奏家、音樂教育家、製作人及藝術經紀人,出生於重慶。自幼受到父親樊爕華的音樂啟蒙,其父為豎笛演奏家及中華民國第一任國防部示範樂隊隊長。樊曼儂在長笛方面師從施鼎瑩和薛耀武,理論及作曲則向許常惠學習。1965年,她畢業於國立臺灣藝術專科學校(今國立臺灣藝術大學),隨即投入長笛演奏與教學,並擔任臺灣省立交響樂團(今國立臺灣交響樂團)長笛首席。樊曼儂的演奏生涯涵蓋古典音樂與流行樂,除了在樂團及大專院校的演出和教學外,亦曾任電影金馬獎主題曲《金馬奔騰》的創作人,並創立了吹笛人室內樂團及國際新象文教基金會,擔任藝術總監。她在推動音樂教育、藝術創新及國際交流方面貢獻良多,並於2014年榮獲第二十五屆傳藝金曲獎出版類特別獎。近半世紀以來,樊曼儂女士致力於將音樂藝術扎根於臺灣,透過創新的藝術形式及國際交流平台,顯著提升臺灣的文化藝術水準。
"FAN Man-Nong (b. 1946) is a flutist, music educator, producer, and arts manager from Chongching, China. Inspired by her father, General Fan Sie-Hua, a clarinetist and the first conductor of R.O.C. Ministry of National Defense Symphony Orchestra. She studied flute under Shi Dingying and Hsue Yao-wu, and composition under Hsu Tsang-Houei. After graduating from the National Taiwan College of Arts in 1965, she became the principal flutist of the Taiwan Provincial Symphony Orchestra. Her career encompasses classical and popular music. She composed the theme song for the Golden Horse Awards, and founded Joueurs de Flûte Ensemble and co-founder and Art Director of New Aspect Foundation, where she serves as artistic director. Recognized for her contributions to music education and international exchange, she received the Special Award in the Publishing Category at the 25th Traditional Arts Golden Melody Awards in 2014. For nearly 50 years, FAN has worked to establish music and arts in Taiwan, enhancing the region's cultural standards through innovative artistic forms and international collaboration."
