曾瀚霈（1949生），音樂學家。出生於臺北市。初中畢業，考取臺灣省立臺北師範專科學校（今國立臺北教育大學）五專部。然入學後不久，師專的課程及內容讓他感到失望，唯獨音樂能激發他高度的興趣，遂決定將學習的重心放在音樂上，努力自行充實音樂知識。曾師事康謳、周靜孜等。1969年畢業後被分派到臺北市木柵國民小學，擔任音樂課科任老師。1979年毅然辭去教職，前往維也納，1987年獲國立維也納大學音樂學博士學位，為戰後臺灣第一代此領域留奧學者。1993年起專任於國立中央大學至2014年退休，為國立中央大學在臺復校唯一音樂學專任之教授。曾瀚霈深受德奧治學嚴謹之學術影響，在音樂學領域的研究主要為西方音樂，有獨到之見解，積極成為音樂學學術教育的播種和耕耘者。

Tseng Han-pei, born in 1949 in Taipei, was among the first batch of Taiwan musicologists who were trained in Austria after WWII. Zeng learned from renowned scholars and was strongly influenced by the rigorous academic tradition of the German-Austrian school. With unique insights in musicology and, he is the only lecturer in musicology when National Central University was relaunched in Taiwan and has been highly regarded as a diligent farmer cultivating the academic field of musicological education.
