金慶雲(1931生),聲樂家,音樂教育家,作家。生于山東濟南。曾任國立臺灣師範大學音樂學系、研究所教授。教學演唱半世紀,獨唱會持續至71歲。是最富號召力、最活躍的演唱者之一。重要樂評人。多屆聲樂家協會常務理事、兩廳院評議委員。國立臺灣師範大學音樂學系畢業,維也納研究多年。1970年代引領中國歌風潮,率先把當代藝術歌和傳統民歌帶入音樂廳,引起廣泛討論,民歌演唱別有風味。是在維也納音樂廳舉行全場中文歌獨唱會的第一人。深耕德文藝術歌曲,蕭滋破例為她伴奏。1995年起,以專場獨唱會向舒曼、舒伯特、布拉姆斯、馬勒逐一致敬。她的文字備受推崇,林懷民譽為「傑出的散文家,獨步華文世界」。著有《弦外之弦》、《冬旅之旅》、《音樂雜音》、《坐看停雲》等書。

CHIN Ching-Yun (born in 1931) is a singer, music educator, and writer, born in Jinan, Shandong. She has taught at the Music Department and Graduate Institute of National Taiwan Normal University. She taught and performed for half a century, giving concerts until she was 71, and becoming one of the most active, crowd-drawing and versatile singers to give public performances. In addition, she is an important music critic and long-time Executive Director of the Association of Vocal Artists and member of the NTCH’s Evaluation Committee. She graduated from National Taiwan Normal University Music Department, and studied in Vienna for several years. She was a leader of the trend in Chinese songs in the 1970s, and was the first to perform contemporary lieder and traditional folk songs in concert halls, attracting enthusiastic discussion for her unique singing technique. She was the first to hold a concert featuring only Chinese songs in the Vienna Konzerthaus. She is deeply knowledgeable about German lieder, and even Robert Scholz once played the accompaniment for her concert. From 1995 onwards, she gave concerts that paid homage to Schumann, Schubert, Brahms, and Mahler. Her writing is highly praised, and has been described as “a stellar essayist” whose works are “unique in the Chinese literary sphere.” She is the author of The string beyond strings, Journey to Winter Journey, Musical Noise, and Sitting to Watch Still Clouds.
