林順賢 LIN Shun-Hsien 音樂教育家 返回

出生於基隆,為臺灣音樂教育家。國小時期接受日本教育,並經常搬遷住所,1945年畢業於雲林斗南國小。國中就讀臺南縣立斗南農校。林順賢最早接觸西洋音樂,乃來自家人的耳濡目染;1948年進入臺中師範學校,才真正開始音樂能力養成,例如讀譜及彈琴。1953年考入國立臺灣師範大學音樂系,為第六屆系友。就讀臺中師範及師大期間,皆擔任學校管樂隊隊長,負責訓練與指導工作。1954年師大畢業後專任於國立藝術專科學校,擔任視唱聽寫教師,直到1997年退休;另先後在文化大學、東吳大學、光仁國中音樂班等校兼任。課餘時間曾替中國廣播公司寫音樂講稿、擔任中廣合唱團伴奏,並在耶穌會光啟社管理音樂唱片及製作音樂節目。

LIN Shun-Hsien, born in Keelung, is a Taiwanese music educator. He attended Japanese elementary school in Taiwan and changed residency frequently since little. He graduated from Dounan Elementary School in 1945 and then entered Dounan Agricultural School. LIN learnt Western music first from his family and received the official trainging, such as music reading and piano playing, when studying at Taichung Teachers' Junior College (now known as National Taichung University of Education; NTUE) since 1948. In 1953 he was admitted to National Taiwan Normal Univeristy (NTNU), becoming a member of the 6th class of the Music Departmnet. At NTUE and NTNU, LIN served as the head of the school wind band, responsible for musician training. After receiving the Bachelor's degree, he began to teach courses of ear training and sight singing at National Taiwan University of the Arts until 1997. He also taght at Chinese Culture University, Soochow University, and Kuang Jen Catholic High School. He often spends his leisure time in writing scripts for Broadcasting Corporation of China's music programs, serving as the accompanist for the BCC choir, and maintaining recordings and producing music programs for Kuanhchi Cultural Group.
