邵義強,音樂文字作家;1934年生於臺南,2017年逝於臺南,終身以音樂推廣為職志,為臺灣早期推廣古典音樂的重要推手。邵義強著作等身,音樂相關之編譯著作超過一百餘冊,於各期刊雜誌發表超過150篇文章,並為許多發行唱片撰寫樂曲介紹。曾於嘉義嘉華中學、臺南延平國中、大成國中音樂班、臺南神學院、臺中雙十國中音樂班、員林大同國中音樂班等校擔任音樂教師,亦曾擔任省交「音樂人員研習會」講師兼輔導組長,退休後於成功大學、臺南大學、立德管理學院等校及臺灣各地講授音樂欣賞課程,為臺灣的古典音樂推廣不遺餘力。

SHAO Yi-Chiang, born in Tainan in 1934, was a music writer. He took music promotion as his life career and was a leading figure to publicize classical music in early Taiwan. In his life, SHAO had edited more than 100 volumns of publications, published about 150 articles, and wrote a great number of program notes for records. As a teacher, he had taught music at Chia Hwa Senior High School in Chiayi, Yanping Junior High School, Dacheng Junior High School, and Tainan Theological College in Tainan, Shuang-Shih Junior High School in Taichung, and Tatung Junior High School in Changhua. He also served as the lecturer and the head consultant at the Provicial “music staff conference.” During his retirement, he remained lecturing in music appreciation and promoting classical music in many institutions, such as National Cheng Kung University, National University of Tainan, and Leader University. He passed away in Tainan in 2017.
