陳泗治，作曲家、音樂教育家；1911 年 4 月 14 日出生於臺北士林，1992 年 9 月 23 日逝世於美國。先後就讀於淡江中學及臺灣神學院，期間隨吳威廉牧師娘及德明利姑娘學習鋼琴，並於1934年赴東京神學大學修習作曲，作品洋溢著強烈民族氣息、濃厚的鄉土色彩，回國後擔任淡江中學校長二十五年，是一位民族音樂家兼教育家，全心投入教育樹人工作，呂泉生甚至將他稱為「偉大的完人」。
CHEN Si-Zhi was born in Shilin, Taipei in 1911. He attended Tamsui Senior High School and Taiwan Theological College and Seminary. He studied piano with Minister Wu Wei-Lian and Ms. De Ming-Li. He went to Japan in 1934 to study composition at Tokyo Union Theological Seminary. His compositions are full of patriotism, nationalistic fervor and obvious rural characteristics. After returning to Taiwan, he served as headmaster at Tamkang Senior High School for 25 years. Chen was both a Chinese musician and a Chinese music educator. He devoted his life to education. The renowned Taiwanese composer Lü Quan-Sheng called him “a master of all masters.” He passed away in the US in 1992.
